School Materials for a Rural Community in Kenya

Kenya Project

The need: A rural community in Kenya lacked the basic school materials needed to keep children in education, a gap that, left unaddressed, often pushes families to send children to cities in search of opportunity instead.

What UNA Global South did: Working through a trusted local contact with direct ties to the community, we raised and provided targeted funding for textbooks and school materials, keeping the investment small and accountable rather than spread thin.

The outcome: Children kept in school, with materials in hand, through a model that put trust and local knowledge ahead of scale.
