The need: A small nursery supporting refugee mothers and their children in Ethiopia operated with very little, lacking even basic clothing and supplies to properly support the families relying on it.
What UNA Global South did: We provided practical, direct support, sending clothing and seasonal gifts to the nursery to help ease the daily pressure on the mothers and children who depended on it.
The outcome: A small but meaningful improvement in daily life for the families this nursery supports. This is modest, hands-on work, exactly the kind of targeted, low-overhead support that defines much of what UNA Global South does at the community level.
